Tip 3: Cooking pineapple with shrimp

You will need
  • - fresh pineapple - 1 pc .;
  • - peeled shrimps - 300 g;
  • - lemon - 0.5 pcs .;
  • - orange - 0.5 pcs .;
  • - olive oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • - honey - 1/3 tsp;
  • - salt - pinch;
  • - a mixture of peppers - to taste;
  • - parsley - 3-4 twigs.
For the dish, choose a ripe pineapple with a soft but elastic crust. Ripe pineapple should have a pleasant but unobtrusive flavor. No need to store the fruit in the refrigerator, low temperatures destroy the aroma of pineapple. The correct fruit must have green tops.
Wash fresh fruit under warm water. Drain with paper towels. Use a sharp, convenient knife to cut the pineapple into two equal halves. On each part of the tropical fruit must be green.
Gently trim the flesh in each part of the pineapple, stepping back from the peel by 1 centimeter. Slowly remove the pulp from the blanks. Rid the resulting pulp from the dense part. Crumble the remaining slices into small cubes.
Next, do some shrimp. If necessary, carry out the defrosting procedure. Rinse the shrimp in running water, pat dry.
Set the pan on the fire, heat the olive oil, put the shrimp. Roast for 2-3 minutes. The preparation time depends on the state of the product, i.e. Boiled and frozen shrimp warm enough for 1 minute. Remove the prepared shrimp from the pan. Large cut in half, leave unchanged, salt.
Prepare a dressing. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from half a lemon, drain into a bowl. Do the same with the orange. Add honey, pepper and salt to the juice, mix the composition.
Stir the shrimp with the pineapple pieces, fill the pineapple halves with the mixture. Pour the salad by pouring it, pour parsley with greens, decorate with shrimp on top. Serve the dish to the table.
