The technique of ice staining gives an amazing result.
Place a tray under the dish dryer. Wet the textiles and place them in the dish dryer.
Spread a thick layer of ice on top of the material.
Spray paint powder gently over ice. You can use only one or several colors, at your discretion.
Please take precautions when working with powder, work in a well-ventilated area, but not in a draft, or wear a protective mask.
Keep spraying the paint until you cover the entire canvas that you want to paint.
Leave in a well-ventilated area and allow the ice to completely melt.
Tip:Note that the longer the dyeing process, the more saturated the colors you get. To get such shades, as in the photo, it took 24 hours.
When all the ice has melted, pour the water out of the pan.Rinse the material well, and then wash it in the washing machine. Do not use fabric softener.
Dry the material and iron it.
Time to demonstrate your work. Enjoy the beautiful watercolor work in your interior and the delights of loved ones!
