Now, even those have been answered with ANI confirming the location for the Deepika Padukone – Ranveer Singh wedding to be Villa del Balbianello. The property overlooks Lake Como in Italy — a destination that has become rather popular of late. Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal were engaged at Lake Como in late September this year. Padukone and Singh have already departed for Italy. While the guest list is yet to be disclosed, don’t expect to find too many celebrities on it. When the Padmaavat actress made an appearance onKoffee with Karan Season 6’s inaugural episode with Alia Bhatt, host Karan Johar discussed how the wedding would be a private affair with an extremely tight guest list. Inside Villa del Balbianello, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding venue at Lake Como
Constructed in the 18th century, Villa del Balbianello boasts of a magnificent garden, trees pruned to perfection, romantic lake views, abundant blooming flowers, panoramic terraces and avenues lined with statues. Apart from the scenic drive, the property is also accessible via water and has served as the location for several Hollywood movie franchises such as Star Wars and James Bond.
If you plan to visit the villa on your next holiday, hour-long guided tours are offered for the whole property. These are provided in both Italian and English for groups up to 15 people at a time. The standard admission ticket per person for these tours is € 16 (approximately ₹1,500) and the tour itself costs € 60 (approximately ₹5,631) per group.
