Leather quiver for arrows (foot)- a convenient and practical quiver for arrows from leather, such a quiver will not hamper movement during walking (hunting), and arrows will always be at hand. You can also make an individual quiver by putting a drawing on it, it will be an excellent gift to the hunter and archery fan.

Materials and tools:

  1. thick skin;
  2. rivets;
  3. chicago screws;
  4. Cordura (cordura) belts;
  5. glue for the skin;
  6. download the pattern;
  7. dremel (set for grinding);
  8. drills;
  9. knife (construction knife);
  10. Clamps.

Step 1

Print out a pattern or transfer it to paper (better). Transfer the pattern to the skin, adding 1-2 mm. Cut out the blanks of leather.

Step 2

Give shape, cut out leather blanks. Soak the blanks in warm water for a few minutes, when the water is absorbed, take out the blanks and fold.At the edges we fix clips. To immediately shape, put a PVC pipe in the quiver. Leave until completely dry skin. After drying, the leather blanks will retain their shape.

Step 3

In the lower part of the quiver blank, we drill three holes for the Chicago screws, also drill three holes for the screws in the blank into which the belt will slip (which secures the quiver to the leg). Also in this workpiece we drill two holes for the rivets and in the appropriate place the holes for the rivets on the quiver.

After all the holes have been drilled, connect the bottom of the quiver and the chicago belt blank with screws, having previously missed the joints with leather glue. Also attach the belt stock (on top) to the quiver using rivets.

Step 4

Like the previous step, using glue and rivets, we will make and attach a retainer to the waistband to the quiver. Drill holes for rivets, thoroughly coat with leather glue and set the rivets.

Step 5

Before drilling holes, glue the quiver from the rib. We coat with glue, we clamp with clips and wait until the glue dries.

Step 6

From the rib where we were glued, we drill holes for two screws and 3-4 rivets and put screws and rivets.

Step 7

Take a knife and cut off the protruding parts of the skin. Then carefully process the edges of the quiver using dremel and grinding nozzles.

Step 8

Paint the edges of the quiver in the color of the quiver, apply Fj ll llr a ven Gronland wax (or other wax based on beeswax) with dye using a dremel and soft felt nozzle. We produce work at low speeds.
