Harrods Teams Up With Dior For Store Takeover
Head to the famous Knightsbridge store this month for a walk in a Dior wonderland
Harrods has teamed up with Dior as part of a month-long store takeover kicking off this spring.
Opening this week and running for one month, the Dior installation will see the label takeover the famous Knightsbridge shop and feature nine separate pop-ups including an exhibition, counters selling exclusive products and a 50-seat cafe serving up scrumptious lobster club sandwiches and cupcakes.
The windows of the iconic department store will also get the Dior treatment and display London telephone and Queen’s guard booths with a twist, ‘showers’ of J’adore perfume bottles, and the shop’s teddy bear mascots dressed in pieces from the label.
Once inside, there’s lots to see including 40 miniature couture dresses and works by young British artists interpreting the famous Lady Dior handbag (of which Jennifer Lawrence is currently the face), as well as celebrity gowns worn by the likes of silver screen legends Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and current Dior muse Charlize Theron.
