Dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms

Dumplings are a versatile dish, because, depending on the filling, it can be both a main snack and a sweet dessert. We offer a simple recipe for dumplings with a seasonal filling - with cabbage and mushrooms.

Cooking method:

Bring water to a boil, remove from heat, add salt, oil and half of the flour. Quickly mix, trying to break all the lumps.

When the mixture has cooled down a little, pour in the remaining flour in several steps and knead a homogeneous, steep, but elastic dough. Roll out the dough sausage, divide it into two parts and in turn cut into pieces. Roll out each piece of dough into a thin cake.Spread a teaspoon stuffing and pinch the edges.

Boil in boiling water for 4–5 minutes. When serving, sprinkle dumplings with fried onions and pour the oil in which it was fried.

Cooking stuffing.Mix the braised cabbage with browned onions and fried mushrooms, season with dried greens, salt and pepper.

If the edges of the dough stick badly, then before joining, we moisten them with water.
